Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley are to benefit from around forty thousand pounds worth of community funding.
It's as Lancashire County Council have released details of two hundred thousand worth of cash through its Local Gateway Grants.
Groups in Hyndburn will be able to apply for their share of around twenty eight thousand while there will be around ten thousands pounds available in the Ribble Valley.
The cash is handed out to good causes to help boost activities in the community.
